Once-ler x Reader part 2

Hey guys Cryaotic8008135 here, so I am continuing Once-ler x Reader story. This is where it is going to get interesting, that is all I can say. Okay, let me give you some hints of what is coming up. Mostly Once-ler becomes money crazy and begins thinking of nothing but his money and business. His family arrives and begins the um, the process of the Thneed. He begins to develop an insane side of him, but there is a thing that he as forgotten...you. You are slaving your back out for him, while your condition begins to worsen. After sharing a few more chuckles, you slowly got up off of him, offering him your hand up. He smiled and took your hand, you pulled him up and dusted him off. He caught your hands and kissed your forehead, making your face go red. You both turned around to see all the animals glaring up at Once-ler, holding all the object's that he threw out of the back of his wagon, while looking for his axe. Once-ler gulped while pushing you behind him, protecting you from the now upset looking animals.

"Once-ler?"

You gently took hold of his arm, he looked over his shoulder at you with a soft smile.

"Don't worry, I won't let them harm you."

He looked back to see the animals getting closer, and closer to him. A light bulb went off in your head, you went back to the wagon and pulled out 2 huge bag's of marshmallow's. Just as one of the cub's launched at Once-ler, you jumped in front of him with the marshmallow's in front of you.

"((Name))?!"

The cub tore the bad of marshmallow's open, scattering them everywhere. With a sweet sugary treat for the animals, they faded away with a smile on their faces. You let out a sigh, letting your arms drop down to your sides, only for a pair of slim arms to wrap around you, bringing them close to you.

"You saved me, they could have hurt you ((name))."

Once-ler said with a soft worried voice. You smiled and turned around, wrapping your arms around his mid-section.

"You know me Once-ler, I'm always up for a challenge."

You felt him sigh, giving the top of your head a kiss.

"Please, never do that again..."

You nodded and turned back to see Lorax looking up at you with a stern glare.

"Okay enough with the lovey dovey, gather up your axe, your house and leave."

The Lorax said as he turned around with his arms crossed over his chest. Once-ler looked shocked at him, as if he was extremely offended.

"Excuse me? I will stay here as long as I want!"

You snapped your fingers, grabbing one of the marshmallow's. You walked back over to Lorax, tapping his shoulder as you got down on your knee's.

"Here!"

You offered him the marshmallow, which he took quickly out of your fingers. He sniffed it and looked back at you.

"I'm gonna eat this, but I'm still highly offended!"

He ate the candy, making you smile and stand up to feel Once-ler stand beside you and gently place his hand on your hip. You giggled and nuzzled into his side, making him laugh and hold you close. Lorax huffed, stomping over to one of the hammered in stakes that were holding down a rope that was attached to the house. Both you and Once-ler looked at him confused, only to gasp as his kicked the stake out. Once-ler kept pounding the stakes in as Lorax kept popping them out of the ground. Before you knew it, one of the cub's grabbed onto one of the stakes that have popped out of the ground.

"Once-ler!"

He grabbed the cub, which was attached to the stake, and was about to bop it, until Lorax stopped him. You sighed and sat down on the ground as Loraz lectured Once-ler about hitting one of nature's creatures.

"Alright that's enough!"

You got up and placed you hand against Once-ler's chest, gently pushing him away from the flaming fur ball.

"Let's call it a night, please?"

You looked up at Once-ler, making him soften as he placed his hand on your lower back.

"Alright."




The day grew cold as the sun went down, you sighed while laying on the couch in Once-ler's 'house'.

"Today was an interesting day."

You heard Once-ler laugh as he finished his master piece, placing it on the chair at the end of the couch. He smiled down at it, shifting his gaze over to you, only to frown some.

"Why are you on the couch?"

You shrugged and closed your eyes, as your body was lifted up into midair. You opened your eyes to see the blue eyes of Once-ler smiling down at you.

"Your sleeping with me sweetheart."

You blushed as he sat you down in bed next to him, while he laid down all cozy and relaxed. While he was stretching, you cuddled against his chest to feel one of his arms wrap around you, holding you close.

"Goodnight ((name))."

"Goodnight Once-ler."

While you drifted off into a deep sleep, you felt the bed raise up into the air all of a sudden. You shrugged and fell back asleep, only to smell fresh air. Your eyes snapped open to see that you were outside, floating down a river. Just as you were about to get up, a little cub bounced on top of your head which kept you down. Just as things were about to get worse, Once-ler dipped his foot into the water, turning the bed towards a raging waterfall. The cub began to whimper as he scattered to the end of the bed, making the bed flip 180 in the water. Both you and Once-ler coughed up the water, waking up to see the cub looking scared and innocent.

"What's going on? Where am I?"

Once-ler looked around, looked down and closed his legs in embarrassment. You kept coughing up the water, grabbing Once-ler's attention.

"((name)), are you okay?"

He carrassed your left face cheek within his hand, making you blush and nod. 1,2,3 before you knew it, you and Once-ler were heading down towards a dangerous water fall. Both you and him hugged each other, with the cub squeezed between you, just as a huge rock came crashing down onto the other end of the bed, shooting you and Once-ler up into the sky and onto safe grass. The animals made sure you were okay, as Lorax revived Once-ler. he grabbed two cubs, rubbed them together creating static electricity, yelled clear, and slammed them on Once-ler's chest. He shot up from the ground holding his chest, a smile appeared on his face.

"I was going into the light and you pulled me out! Your a life saver!"

He brought Lorax in for a hug, then pulled him back to question why his bed ended up in the river. You stood up and ringed your shirt out, which came down to your thighs.

"I put your bed in the water."

Once-ler dropped Lorax and stood up, making his way over to you.

"Are you okay?"

You nodded as he hugged you close to him, raising your shirt ever so slightly. The chubby bear grew ceriuos as to see your ((f/c)) underwear. So he walked closer, grabbed your underwear gently, pulled it back, only for it to snap back, slapping your butt. You yelped and held your butt, looking down at the bear, who laughed and wiggled away.

"What did he do?"

You blushed and shook your head.

"Better for you not to know hun."

Both you and Once-ler fetched your bed and dragged it back to the house, extremely tired and worn out. While Once-ler was passed out, you made your way to an extra room and crashed there, never to know that the animals made their self nice and cozy as well. The sun began to rise, lighting up the room with its gentle glow. Onc-ler turned around, hoping to see your sleeping figure, only to see Lorax snoring up a storm. He screamed, making Lorax scream and punch his nose. After a good 5 minutes of arguing, you woke up, stretching your arms over your head. You heard multiple snoring and deep breathing from around you. You grabbed the blanket, wrapping it around your 3/4 naked figure. You had to take your shirt off, seeing as though it was soaked from last night. All the cubs looked at you confused as if to why you were wearing the blanket, so they waddled over to you, grabbed the edge of the blanket and began to yank and tug on your blanket.

"HEY! QUIT IT OUT!"

The cub's were laughing as they continued to yank at the blankets. Once-ler and Lorax ran into your room, only to see the cubs fully yank off your blanket, showing off your skin pale body. You gasped and ran into the closet, wrapping your arms around your body. There was a soft knock at the door's.

"((name))?"

"Go away, I don't want you to see me like this."

Your voice was shaky, tears formed up in your eyes as you shrank into the darkness of the closet. There was a soft thump against the closet, as a deep breath was let out against the doors.

"Please ((name)), come out of the closet. I have some clothes for you, just please, come out."

You stook your hand out of the closet, palm facing up. You felt the clothes being placed in your hand, as well as a soft forehead was placed against your forearm. You sighed as his lips traveled up your soft pale skin, your blood traveled up your body to your face. As his lips drew away from your skin, you pulled your arm back into the closet and got dressed. Just as you opened the doors, you were pulled into a  big hug. You hugged back and inhaled his scent, he smelled like pancaked, making your stomach growl loud enough to make Once-ler smile. He grabbed your hand and pulled you into the kitchen, were he had your, favorite pancakes already prepared. He pulled your chair out like a gentlemen, you smiled and sat down in the seat as he pushed you towards the table and placed a gentle kiss to your neck. You smiled and turned your head and gave him a kiss on the forehead, making him blush and hide his face into your neck. You giggled and dug into the pancakes, moaning softly at the fluffiness and the sweetness of the pancakes.

"So delicious Once-ler."

He smiled and grabbed his Thneed and guitar.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm going to go make me some money! Get my newest invention out there."

He left and went back to his hometown, to come back with a depressed face. You brought him in for a hug, gave him words that he'll become successful. He smiled and wrapped his arms around you, thanking you as you both went inside. He kept going day after day, only to get food thrown at him, and his guitar broke. One day when he came back, you happen to glance at the way he came from to see a huge crowd walking his way with cash. He smiled and called his parents, inviting them over. You smiled and went into a coughing fit, which caught Lorax's attention. You coughed up more blood, which you whipped off with the same blood coated cloth.

"Hey kid."

You looked down to see Lorax with a concerned look, you smiled and sat down next to him.

"I'm just glad that he finally has admirers."

You held tighter onto the bloody cloth, only to feel a soft paw placed on your hand. Sighing, all the animals hugged you, knowing that you were in pain. Next day came forth with a surprise visit from his parents. Once-ler placed his hand on your hip, bringing you close to him.

"Hi Oncie!"

You giggled as Once-ler blushed deep red.

"Hi mom."

After he introduced you to his family, they went to work on the tree's. Day's, went by as Once-ler became famous and ritch, unlike you who grew more weak and miserable. Your skin grew pale, your hair began to grow more hay like, and your heart began to beat slower and more painfully in your chest. You went back inside to get a drink of water for your dry throat, you looked up to see a creepy figure behind you. You went to scream, only for them to clamp a hand over your mouth.

"Shhh, I'm here to warn you."

You turned around to see that the figure looked like you, but with ghost white skin that was skinny to the bone, their hair was sticking up in every direction like it was morning hair, their eyes were ((your e/c)) but with swirls around them, their nose was stuck out like a witches, their teeth were sharp and yellow, making you gag and cover your mouth at the foul oder that leaked out threw their teeth.

"I, my dear, am you. But sadly, I'm the insane version of you that is slowly growing."

You took in their appearance, then looked back at the mirror to see that you were slowly turning out to be it. You sighed and rested your forehead against the mirror. They placed their hand on your shoulder, making you turn towards them.

"Sweetheart, there is a cure."

Your eyes grew wide.

"Tell me."



Back outside where the Once-ler was in his little room drawing out his plans, only to feel a gloved hand clamp over his mouth.

"He-he, your doing a wonderful job making money Once-ler."

He turned around to see another him, but all suited up with a crooked smirk on their lips.

"Who are-"

"Ignore ((name))."

Once-ler grew confused.

"Why?"

"She's trying to act all sick, only to get your money."

Once-ler grew angry, his hands clenched into fist's, breaking the pencil in his hand.


Back in the bathroom, you were sitting on the toilet as the insane you looked down at you worried.

"Once-ler has made enough money for a cure, all you need to do is grab a hand full and run."

You shook your head, tears rolled down your face.

"I would never do that to him."


Back in the room.

Once-ler stood up with a tall stance.

"She's not going to get any of my money, not matter how much she begs me."

The insane version of him smirked and clapped his hands.


Bathroom=>

You stood up and clenched your hands into fist's.

"I'll do whatever it takes."


Both insane versions =>

"When the time is right, take it."


Back to you =>

You nodded and smiled, only to go into a coughing fit. The insane version rubbed your back.

"If you keep pushing yourself, you'll push the virus faster through your blood faster, ending your life faster then your not wanting it to."


Once-ler =>

He placed on his green suit, sunglasses, and hat. With a smirk on his lips, he looked out to the field of tree's.

"Nobody will stop me."
